MANY HAVE QUESTIONED IF WE WOULD HAVE THE TLM WITHOUT LEFEBVRE’S DISOBEDIENCE TO ST JOHN PAUL II.

To answer, here are questions in response:
Would Abraham and Sara have Ishmael (spiritual forefather and prophet in Islam) if they had trusted in God and had not taken human initiative? No. But they would have still had Isaac, without the thwarting of God’s Divine, Perfect, and Holy Plan and Will. And, many bad fruits resulted because of their lack of trust in God to provide in His time and way.Would we have the PROTESTANT REFORMATION without LUTHER’S disobedience? No. But, rather, possibly a GRACE-FILLED, UNITED CHURCH had Luther remained in battle within, through deep prayer and sacrifice.

Should St. Teresa of Avila have left the Church and started anew during the grave abuse of the Spanish Inquisition of her time, when leaders made her burn a key book which spoke the TRUTH, and fed her soul, while Clerics in the Church didn’t? … Because she didn’t leave, but, rather, was obedient, burned the book, and persevered in prayer and sacrifice, a powerful reform resulted. When St. Joan of Arc was threatened excommunication and burning at the stake for listening to authentic, now approved, private revelations from God, should she have left the Church, realizing the grave faults and failings of her superiors? … Instead, through her red martyrdom at the hands of Church clergy/Judases, many graces came, and continue to come to the Church today through her “yes” to God as a living sacrifice. And, Padre Pio, locked away and banned from carrying out publicly the Sacraments of Holy Mass and Confession – should he have separated from the Bark of Peter with such internal corruption? … Because he submitted humbly to obedience and private prayer, sacrifice, and suffering within the Church, many graces continue to flow from his saintly actions.

All of these Saints, and many more, united with Christ Crucified; taking up their crosses and following after Him as co-redeemers; trusting that God was still in control and the “Gates of Hell [would] not prevail against “ Mother Church.WITH OBEDIENCE GOD CAN “MOVE MOUNTAINS”!

MARY, “MOTHER OF THE CHURCH”, “VIRGIN-MADE CHURCH”“BEAUTY EVER ANCIENT, EVER NEW” is one of the many facets of our “One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church”!So what does this mean for the issue at hand?… Where lies the Truth?

SSPX rejects some parts of Vatican II, continuing the way of Bishop Lefebvre who outrightly disobeyed Pope St. John Paul II back in June of 1988, ordaining Bishops. Who was right back then?Whether one believes, or adheres to, the reported private revelations of Servant of God Don Stephano Gobbi or not, the fact remains that his cause is moving forward in the canonization process; there are about 21 Imprimaturs connected with his Marian Movement of Priests (MMP) Blue Book messages; he was close with Pope St. John Paul II; Pope Benedict said informally when he died, he is in Heaven now; and thousands of Cardinals, Bishops and Priests (combined) were/are members of the MMP. So, no doubt these reported messages from Mary hold a lot of weight of possible authenticity. In one message reportedly given just two weeks after Bishop Lefebvre consecrated Bishops against Pope John Paul’s directive, Mary reportedly said in the MMP Blue Book:
385.

WITH THE FAITH OF PETER, (JUNE 29, 1988) Shrine of Knock (Ireland), Feast of Sts. Peter and Paul

“Beloved sons, enlighten the earth with the light of Christ. Beloved sons, bring all people to Christ with the faith of Peter. It was upon Peter alone that Christ founded His Church. It was for Peter alone that Jesus prayed that His faith remain ever intact. It was to Peter alone that the Lord entrusted the task of confirming His brothers in the faith…Today you are celebrating the Solemnity of the Holy Apostles, Peter and Paul, during this Marian Year, consecrated to me.As a sorrowful and concerned Mother, I urge you all to look today to the successor of Peter, Pope John Paul II. He is my Pope. He is the Pope who has been formed by me in the depths of my Immaculate Heart. He is the Pope of my great light, in these times of greatest darkness. With the faith of Peter, he is enlightening the earth and confirming all the Church in the truth. The Pope today, as a new Peter, is reaffirming the total faith in Christ the Son of God and, as a new Paul, is going to every part of the world to proclaim with courage his Gospel of salvation.Support the Pope by your filial unity. Pray for him, suffer with him, love him, surround him with a powerful force of humble and courageous obedience. The heart of the Pope is bleeding today because of one Bishop of the holy Church of God who, through an arbitrary episcopal ordination carried out against his will, is opening up a painful schism in the Catholic Church. But this is only the beginning. In fact many bishops are, as of the present time, no longer united with the Pope and are moving along a road which is opposed to that which he is pointing out. This is a greater and more dangerous deviation, even if it is not yet visible, and one which gives pain to my motherly Heart and causes it to bleed and, as it were, causes my Pope to fall under the weight of a cross which is too heavy.I have prepared you so that you may help him carry his great cross. For this, the hour has come when there must appear, in all its force and its splendor, the great army which, in silence and in hiddenness, I have been forming for myself during these years in every part of the world, through my Marian Movement of Priests, for the defense and the strong support of the Pope. Thus there is beginning to be delineated clearly the plan of the little flock, which will remain faithful to Christ and to His Church, guarded whole and entire in the garden of my Immaculate Heart.”

+++RICH TRADITION, SMOKE OF STATAN, MASONIC INFILTRATION, VATICAN II SSPX

wanted to retain the rich Tradition of the Latin Mass, reverence toward the Eucharist, the Deposit of Faith passed down from the Apostles and the like. Did St. John Paul II not want this? Does the fact that John Paul promoted Vatican II throughout his pontificate mean that he wanted to do away with rich Tradition? Or was there a deeper need and grace he was trying to bring to the Church that Lefebvre could not see?

The hierarchy of the Church had been breached and infiltrated, conveyed Pope Paul VI, Pope John Paul II, Fulton Sheen (see Bella Dodd’s book, School of Darkness), in various ways; and, last but not least, Our Lady of Fatima in her Third Secret (not to mention a number of other mystics) who expressed the same.
So if all these acknowledged such, why wasn’t Bishop Lefebvre’s desire heeded? Could he have had much Truth, but lacking some? No doubt many terrible results came following Vatican II: grave lack of reverence in the Holy Eucharist; a loss of the rich traditional practices of gregorian chant and sacred hymns at Mass; a loss of recognition of the high calling of the priesthood and religious life; a grave infiltration of liberation theology and loss of recognizing the Divinity of Christ and transcendence in the spiritual life; a watering down, protestantizing of: devotion to Mary, the sacramental life, and the beauty of Catholic art and architecture; a loss of fostering the ascetical life among Christians; a compromising of the Gospel message, giving way to lukewarm and sinful practices. All so bad… (But let us remember as well, that even Pope St. Pius X, pre-Vatican II, warned that modernism was already creeping in.

So again, was this bad fruit St. John Paul II’s intent in promoting Vatican II? Or, was he trying to address a deeper issue at hand which was the cause of these heretical symptoms? Was Lefebvre’s solution just putting a bandaid on the huge cancer prevalent in the Church, whereas JPII was trying to remedy the root cause? And, so, never the two shall meet? If Lefebvre (and SSPX his children) was so focused on remedying the problem, possibly in a superficial way, this may have prevented him from recognizing the deeper problem which John Paul II was trying to address. Is it possible Lefebvre could not see it, or hear it, due to a blind-spot in his spiritual life? – This blind-spot being truly a matter of the HEART.
“Do not stifle the Holy Spirit…  But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good” (cf 1 Thes 5:19-21).
“Totus Tuus Mariae” was John Paul II’s motto. His relationship with Mary, “Mother of the Church” and “Virgin-Made Church” was deep, personal, and heart-felt. And, for this reason he was disposed to a grace so profound, a revelation so important, for the Church moving forward into the 3rd Millenium; a grace similar to St. John the Beloved in Revelation in his peek into the “unsealed book” meant for our times. This unsealed book is what God has in store for this “New Era” of the Church”, this New Springtime soon to come, in which buds are already blossoming. And, for this, the Church cannot remain stagnant. Yes, She must keep Her rich, beautiful and profound Tradition intact, but must also be open to the more in store as “the New Jerusalem coming down from Heaven” prepares to meet Her “Husband” in “the New Heaven and the New Earth”. We must not sell God short in His plan for us (cf Rev. 21). John Paul II in preparing us for the Jubilee Year 2000, tells us in The Advent of the Third Millenium Apostolic Letter, “During the Council, precisely out of a desire to be fully faithful to her Master, the Church questioned herself about her own identity, and discovered anew the depth of her mystery as the Body and Bride of Christ.”
Venerable Mary of Agreda, who in the 1600s accounts her mystical experiences in Mystical City of God, writes:“I saw a most precious veil covering a treasure and my heart burned with desire to see it raised and to look upon the sacred mystery which I understood was hidden beneath…” She was then directed: “Dispoil thyself of thyself, and then this mystery will be revealed to thee.”She continued, “The veil fell entirely and my interior eyes saw what I shall not know how to describe in words. I saw a great and mysterious sign in heaven; I saw a Woman, a most beautiful Lady and Queen, crowned with the stars, clothed with the sun, and the moon was at her feet (Apoc. 12,1). The holy angels spoke to me: ‘This is that blessed Woman, whom Saint John saw in the Apocalypse, and in whom are enclosed, deposited and sealed up the wonderful mysteries of the Redemption” (City of God, Vol 1, Bk 1, Ch 1, 5).

A MATTER OF THE HEART

“We must be Marian before Patristic,” Pope John Paul II told the hierarchy, and all of us. We must “BE” before “DO”. He identified a “utilitarian spirit” plaguing the culture of our times. He called the whole Church to “gaze upon the face of Christ”, especially present in the Eucharist, the Heart, the “source and summit of the whole Christian life.” He called us to spend time before Jesus in the Eucharist, prepare our hearts to receive the Eucharist, especially in and through the Heart of Mary, “Mother of the Eucharist” (Eucharistia). He called us to Consecrate ourselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary; to remain in the “School of Mary”, she who keeps us in the full Truth of Her Son and of Her Daughter the Church. Only in this way do we have unity. Only in this way are we protected from the onslaught of heresy, compromise, and error regarding who the Church is meant to be.

TO GO DEEPER STILL

Where do we find that “small, still, voice” of God, and His direction in our personal lives and in the life of the Church, but only through our journey from head to heart. “All is straw,” said St. Thomas following his writings of the Summa, after encountering God’s deep and profound love for him in a personal way. In other words, there is so much more! He was in a sense echoing St. John the Beloved’s, “God is Love” admonition (1 Jn 4:7-21).
John Paul II’s mission for the Church in our time was to draw the faithful to deeper personal relationship with God, allowing all rubrics, rituals, doctrines and teachings, to be as spokes of a wheel; drawing us to the core of our faith – union with our Triune God and transcendence into His Kingdom which is at hand. And, so, he saw a deeper need within the Church, to “open up the windows” and let out puritanical, manechean heresies within the Church that stifled, oppressed, and prevented from the MORE that God had in store. Clear bad fruits of such heresies were the rampant sexual scandals, once hidden, which began to surface. In reading his many writings, his motive was clearly not to let in “modernism”, and the many grave errors that earlier Popes had warned against; but, rather, to deepen the solid foundation of union with Jesus, the Rock, upon which the Church is built, as he tells us, “Christ ‘fully reveals man to man himself and makes his supreme calling clear’.” He goes on to say, “Man achieves this fulfillment of his destiny through the sincere gift of self, a gift which is made possible only through his encounter with God. It is in God that man finds full self-realization…” (Tertio).
To summarize, “Grace builds on nature” and thus we must be transformed from within, as St. Paul tells us, “Your in-most being must be renewed, and you must put on the new man” (cf Eph 4:23-24).

JOURNEY FROM HEAD TO HEART with MARY

Jesus, fully human, fully divine, “reveals” to us our own need for human, spiritual integration. Bad fruits result when any part of us is repressed, stifled and locked away deep in our hearts. A great fruit of devotion to the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts of Jesus and Mary is an encouragement that we, as children of God, dispose our hearts as well, to the great mercy and love of God. It is only in this that we can be redeemed and transformed from our “inmost being”. It is only in this that Mary was able to say, “My soul [my whole being] proclaims the greatness of the Lord.”
As beautiful, sacred and rich as the unique rubrics of the Traditional Latin Mass may be, we sell ourselves short if we box them in as the primary means to holiness of life. Rather, the Eucharistic Sacrifice of Holy Mass is primary, and central in drawing us to ever-deeper communion with God. All such rubrics are secondary aids to this end.
Satan has had his druthers in fostering division among the faithful in the many and varied spiritualities and devotions available within Mother Church. Certainly, the rock of the rich deposit of faith handed down from the apostles, along with Sacred Scripture, must be foundational in all devotions and spiritualities; but within this guideline, God works differently among His flock who come from different backgrounds, perspectives and temperaments.
The Desert Fathers continually counselled – aim for purity of heart in order to reach the Goal of Communion with God (Theosis); what helps one to do so within the guidelines of Mother Church will not be the same for everyone, and so, may we all pray for the Holy Spirit to inspire us to have wisdom and understanding in our perception of one another.

REMEDY IN THIS BATTLE

And the remedy for the Church in our times in countering Satan’s attempt to avert Her from Her TRUE aim and goal is “The Woman clothed with the sun,” under whose mantle we must remain, in order to be protected from Satan’s subtle and deceptive wiles.
As we once again find ourselves in times similar to Noah’s, with such a flood of chaos, confusion, division and evil, we must enter into this “New Ark” of Mary’s Immaculate (and all-pure) Heart, in order to be protected and inspired in the fullness of union with Christ who is the only Way, Truth and Life; an Ark that many don’t realize is ONE with the Bark of Peter.
“To contemplate the face of Christ, and to contemplate it with Mary, is the ‘programme’ which I have set before the Church at the dawn of the third millennium… to contemplate Christ… above all in the living Sacrament of His Body and His Blood” (JPII, Eucharistia).
“And I saw the holy City, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (Rev 21:2). And “the Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come… Come, Lord Jesus!’” (Rev 22:17, 20).” To Our Divine Eucharistic Bridegroom, through Our Immaculate Mother!”
