It is an Abrahamic monotheistic religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth. How Many Christians are in the World Today? Approximately 2.38 billion people practice some form of Christianity globally. This means that about one-third of the world’s total population is Christian. Christianity has several denominations, but the largest is the Catholic Church. There are about 1.2 billion Catholics globally. Other large denominations include Protestantism and the Eastern Orthodox Church. The Most Christian Countries Christianity is the predominant religion in Europe, Russia, North America, South America, parts of Africa, Timor Leste, the Philippines, and much of Oceania. However, Christianity is also practiced on a smaller scale in regions including the Middle East and Indonesia. In some 21 nations worldwide, Christianity has been deemed the state religion. These nations include England, Greece, and Iceland. Nations with high numbers of Christians or members of any religion but no official state religion and where religion does not play a role in policymaking are secular countries. In terms of how many Christians reside in a nation, the United States leads the pack with approximately 230 million. Brazil also has a high number of Christians – over 180 million, to be exact. Countries with the highest total number of Christians: 1.United States 2.Brazil 3.Mexico 4.Nigeria 5.Philippines 6.Russia 7.Democratic Republic of  Congo 8.Italy 9.Ethiopia 10.China In terms of percentages of Christians compared to a nation’s population as a whole, the top spot is understandably claimed by Vatican City, the independent city state that is the headquarters of the Catholic Church. The Vatican’s roughly 825 citizens are all Christian, which gives it a percentage of 100%. In second place is Timor Leste (formerly East Timor). Of this island nation’s more than 1.1 million residents, approximately 99.1% are Christian. A full 98% of American’ Samoa’s 70,000 residents practice Christianity, but it’s a U.S. territory rather than an independent country. Thus, third place falls to Romania, which is 98% Christian. O Mother mine, how much I love and esteem you, and firmly trust that you will grant me perseverance in your holy service and grace until death. I beseech and beg you, my Mother, to destroy at the proper time the heresies that devour the flock of your most holy Son. Remember, O most gracious Virgin, that you have the power to end them all. Do so out of charity for that great love you bear toward Jesus Christ your Son. Look upon the souls redeemed through the infinite price of Jesus’ Blood, who are falling once more under the power of the demon, and neglecting your Son and you. What is lacking then, my Mother? Would you perhaps avail yourself of some instrument with which to remedy so great an evil? Here is one who however vile and contemptible he knows himself to be, is yet assured that he will serve the better for this end, since your power will shine forth all the brighter, and all will see that it is you who are at work, not I. Come now, loving Mother, let us lose no time. Here I am: dispose of me as you will, for you know that I am wholly yours. I trust that you will do this out of your great kindness, pity, and mercy, and I ask you this through the love you bear for the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is in St. Michael’s powerful aid that we must rely upon to defend ourselves against the assaults of atheism as expressed in Marxism and in the materialistic secularism. 2.  St. Gabriel – God’s Special Messenger. He renews our hope in the Lord Jesus as the fulfillment of humanity’s search for meaning against nihilism, depriving life of all essence of it very existence. 3.  St. Raphael – Mankind’s Special Guide to Heaven. He constantly guides us to our everyday journey here on earth towards the place of true happiness – which is the home of our Heavenly Father. Humanity is presently afflicted with the greediness of people for power and wealth expressed by monopolistic capitalism over the powerless. 4.  St. Uriel – Archangel of Divine Justice. He reminds us of the last judgement of God, wherein every man will have to account for everything he has done here on earth. He is likewise God sent to defend those who are suffering from injustice in any form especially racism. 5.  St. Sealtiel, Archangel of Adoration – He leads us away from hedonism that spawns prostitution, drug abuse, abortion and murder, and guides us in purifying and transforming purity of mind and heart. 6.  St. Jhudiel – Archangel of God’s Merciful Love. He helps us see God’s mercy, love and peace in order to overcome communism. He shows us how to conquer evil with good and to forgive those who have wronged us. 7.  St. Barachiel – Provider and Guardian of God’s Children. He speaks of God’s Fatherly love for us in providing for all the needs of our soul and body.
