Our Lady of Revelation Converts Enemy of the Church, Bruno Cornacchiola

“I was Assumed into Heaven by my Son and the Angels.”
Just outside the Walls of Rome across the street from where St. Paul is believed to have been martyred there is a beautiful grotto and Shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Revelation. In the Spring of April 1947, Our Lady appeared to a Protestant man named Bruno Cornacchiola who was looking for a quiet place to practice is speech “Mary Is Neither Ever Virgin Nor Immaculate.” Mary appeared wearing a long green mantle, a pink sash, and a white dress. She spoke to Bruno, “I am the Virgin of Revelation. You persecute me. Enough now. Return to the Holy Fold of on Earth (the Catholic Church).
Later she added: “My body could not and did not decay. I was assumed into Heaven by my Son and the angels.” The Blessed Mother also gave Bruno a special message for the Holy Father himself, “You must go to the Holy Father, the Pope, the Supreme Pastor of Christianity, and personally tell him my message. Bring it to his attention. I shall tell you how to recognize the one who will accompany you to see the Pope.”
Two years after the apparition, Bruno was able to personally deliver this message to the Pope. It is said that this message was an impetus to Pope Pius XII declaring the Dogma of the Assumption in 1950. It is interesting to note that Our Lady told Bruno that her body “could not” and “did not decay.” Our Lady, the Immaculate Conception, was pure and without corruption. Her body was taken into heaven because to be honored by all Creation. Hail Blessed Mother, Full of Grace.
